Piaggio Scooters
Anyone own a Piaggio MP3 Motor scooter?
I was looking for some input on the Piaggio 3 wheeled motor scooter. You opinion, good or bad. I also can not find the MPG ratings on any of there models. Thanks.
I have test driven one and spoke to two people that own them one 250cc one 400cc.
Both think they are wonderful scooter and have very little bad to say about them. The 250cc owner says only once in a while does she wish for more power but overall she is thrilled. She uses it mostly for intercity travelling.
The 400cc owner uses it for commuting to and from work and pleasure riding. He is likewise very happy with though he did say it took a while to get used to how far you lean it without worry. He has taken his on the highway many times and reports it is a good cruiser as well.
The 250cc owner is not very diligent about MPG numbers but some quick math puts her at about 50mpg for mostly around town and she is not gentle with the throttle 
The 400cc owner stated he has topped 60mpg some trips with most tanks being around mid 50's.
Obviously this is hardly scientific or official but it should get you a good idea of what to expect.

how much oil do i have to insert in the transmission box of a scooter Piaggio Liberty 50cc, 4 stroke, 2001?
I am living in Romania and I have a second hand scooter wich came directly from Italy, no papers at all. As the services are poor and there is not any representative in my city, I am forced to do the maintenance myself. I started by changing the motor oil but I have a problem with the oil level in the transmission compartment, It is provided with a measuring rod(I don't know the English word for that), but i don"t know till where should the oil to reach, also, if you are so kind, tell me what other maintenance are needed over 15000 km. thank you
