Piaggio Scooter What do you think of Piaggio scooters?
I really want to get one. I can save a lot on gas and they're only 2k new. I want a Fly 50, 110mpg is no joke! What do you think of them? I heard they are high quality. My brother has a newer Vespa, and it's really nice. Do the Piaggio's carry the same quality as the Vespa?
Piaggio are pretty high quality scooters and they even make vespa. They are not the most cost effective though and parts are VERY hard to get. I ride with a guy with an MP3 and he had to have some parts replaced after a small accident and it took him about 2 months to get the small parts that he needed. On the other hand, KYMCO is also a VERY reliable scooter make, they made engines for Honda for 40 years and now make engines for BMW. I've had two KYMCO's and love them. Parts are also very easy to get if you ever need them. Take a look at the KYMCO People 50/S50 and on a tighter budget the Agility 50.
