I am a biker, let me tell you this, son; if you corner at speed in the wet you are heading for a&e at the least. I don't care if you have a moped or a fireblade doing so is unsafe and you should not be doing it. The reason you are cornering faster is that you are stupid. Someone on a proper bike with wider tyres could corner quicker than you easily in the wet. Chances are though they have had the experience of falling off already and realised it hurts both you and the bike.

The last accident I had was in the wet braking late for a corner, my rgv was planted under a mondeo and I ended up in traction for 3 months.
