i want to buy a vespa lx, but they are too expensive for me. what kind of classic, vespa-like scooters would you reccommend? i really like the design of the vespa lx headlight, so if you know of one that has that, please tell me! and please dont just say brands, but possibly the exact model too if you could! thanks soo much!

P.S. please dont tell me to get a vespa if i want one. i do want one, but i cant offord one. i know tons of companies make "fake vespas" for alot less, so i basically wanna know which ones you recommend. and besides, i know vespas are really nice, but alot of what you're paying for is the name.
please dont say: "its crap, you get what you pay for, its a name brand!"!!!! i know that yamaha has a scooter called a vino that is nice. its not exactly what i want, but i know some companies have nice scooters, i just wanted some oppinions on which one to buy!
any hamaha or honda models you specifically recommend?

Yamaha Vino 125 perhaps? Kymco 150 sort of popular around here, madison wisconsin, on campus. Chicago are has a scooter maker doing retro Vespa- Genuine scooter or something- Stella model is old Vespa lookalike for about $3400.00 new with a clean 4 stroke engine. Owner is Vespa restorer, Vespa Vintage club founder that used to make some retro replacement parts before he got tooling for whole scooter. Honda models recommend- cheaper runner is a used Helix 250, has been around for a few years until replaced in model line few years back with similar sized but restyled model. Decent highway model and going for $1000.00 to $1500.00, cheaper in winter here.
