how to add Indicators to a Moped?
Hi,
I have just received an old moped and I would like to put on a set of Indicators to it.
The bike is an old Vespa piaggio. It does NOT have a battery. It has a bike pedal starting system and what I assume is then a dynamo system to run the lights.
Anyone know what type of things I need to add indicators on the Bike as it has never had any.
I was thinking of things like........Lights/indicators (obviously), Switch ? , Power source ? Placement handlebars, back etc ?
Any advice is appreciated as I have never had a Scooter before and need some starting points.
Thanks for the quick and informatitve answer. however I have seen lots of bikes like these with indicator lights. Are you saying dont do it in reference to the work involved? Cost involved or potential damage to the bike?

Yes - but that moped was designed and manufactured with indicators and all the necessary wring and relays to go with them.
