Gas Vespa Scooter
I'm looking for an electric scooter (kind that resembles a Vespa), that can go more than10 mi/charge...?
What is a good electric scooter? I'm sick of buying gas and polluting the environment so I can drive my ridiculous, gas guzzling car just to get to Starbucks or to pick up a few groceries. I want the battery to last more than 10 miles or 40 minutes, you know? I also want it to go faster than I can run, too. lol. Does anyone have a good, electric scooter that they are happy with? I want it to resemble a Vespa, but be electric. What brand is it, what are it's specs, what is the price? Thanks for your help.

They are cheaper to buy and maintain and they use less gas than any car.
But before you buy ensure you take in consideration all the scooter laws
that apply, because you might not be able to just wheel you scooter from
the show room straight onto the street.
In most cases you can mainly with 49cc scooters and all you are required
to have on you is protective saftey gear. Although in some U.S states you
may require a motorcycle endorsement.
If your scooter is over 50cc then you may need to look at getting a license for it, but it depends on the location you are living in and what laws apply to scooters in that area. Generally 49cc scooters are legal without the need of
any liscensing.
Scince gas prices shot through the roof more and more people have been considering purchasing a 49cc scooter in order to save money on petrol.
so what are some good scooter choices that you can use to purchase a quality scooter from and save money from your petrol usage.
Honda produces great quality 49cc scooters which are reliable and will save you alot on gas prices.Honda puts alot of hard work to ensure the product lasts a long time and works well. Their cheaper 49cc scooters will put you back $2000 and their more expensive ones will be $8900 mark, total worth it in the long haul.
Yamaha scooters are on the same line as Honda. Very reliable the will keep you on the road for years to come. Their new veno model which cost around $2000 dollars gets an estimated 110 mpg. Great gas mileage. This is a 49cc liquid air cooled 4 stroke scooter that looks a lot like the vespa scooters seen on most foreign films from Europe. If you want more power and want to blow out your budget then you can go top of the line with the Yamaha Majesty scooter. This scooter cost around $6100 dollars and gets 51 mpg. Not as many mpg as the veno but it has a lot more power.
The 49cc scooters listed above are great and neither is really better it comes down to what you prefer out of a scooter.
