I am looking to purchase a scooter that will get me to philly and back?

I am looking for a Motorized scooter that will be able to travel on the interstate and or highway from Gettysburg,PA to Center City Philadelphia. I go to school aka college and will be moving back to philly but I travel there alot and the thoguht of a scooter is amamzing. .

IT WILL have to be under 900 dollars and IT has to have good gas mileage and NOT BE A SPORT OR TOURING BIKE... I like the idea of the GTV 250 motor scooter by Vespa.. BUT they are too expensive.. SO im trying to find one like it that is under 900 dollars and will be allowed to drive on interstate and highway!! THANKS!
I can not stand the sight of moter bikes so that is out of the question.. YEAh I have work in philadelphia that I go back to and from and I live in center of PA.. I try to go back every other weekend if I can.. I dont have a car.. BUT a scooter will be fine.. I am not looking again for a sport.. or something that looks like a motor bike.. thanks!

Your requirements are unreasonable / unrealistic. Philosophy / Divinity student by chance? Defiantly not an engineering / finance student. Anyway, There is only one scooter I would consider for your commute and it will cost you considerably more than the collection plate of crumbs that you have budgeted. A Suzuki Burgman 650 will meet all of your requirements excepting cost. Best you buy an old lime green Ford Fiesta, ya don't like bikes anyway.
