Side Fairing

can someone help me with pipe routing on my 1998 thundercat?

Their is a small bore pipe in the front fairing coming off of part of the ram air system that runs down the left hand side(inside the fairing) of the bike that has a 'T' piece with 30/40mm of pipe attached. Where does this go to? After the 'T' the pipe just runs to a small clear bottle with a cap on the end. I assume this is some kind of drain point in case of water ingress.

I can't offer great help at the mo as I am at work, I got a mate who rides one of these. you can usually find manuals in PDF format online to save a few quid on buying one...

How much is my motorcycle worth?

It is a 2008 Yamaha R6S. Under 4000 miles. About 2 months ago I let it get away from me and it went sliding down the street. The plastics are scratched and a bolt that holds the side fairing to the frame broke out of its hole. The peg broke off and the crankcase cover is damaged.
How much does this effect the value of my motorcycle?
I didn't file any claims there was no police report. I picked my bike up and drove it home. I want to know its value because of a tax situation. I might benefit from my bike being worth less rather than more.

take like 1500 bucks off a similar bike on ebay (A non damaged one). Maybe more even.
