Kickstand Sidestand
1984 Kawasaki ZN 1300 Voyager kickstand does not lean enough to the left.?
My Voyager leans to far to the right. This makes it hard at times to park the bike. I have been told this can be due to bad shocks though I think this unlikely.
My other 84 did also though not as bad. Some people say cut it about .5 inch and reweld the kickstand.Other people say to bend it in 2 places one near the top and the other near the foot to maintain the same angle.
I am thinking or replaceing the kickstand with one from another model of Kawasaki such as the KZ1000 or even a different make altogether.
It would have to be able to still activate the sidestand kill switch.
I think replacing the stand would be your best bet. Bending or cutting would compromise the integrity of the stand and you may be picking the bike up off the ground. Just my $.02.

Bypass Sidestand Switch?
How do you do that?
This is only temporary but I'm on vacation and half the time, my bike will start and the other time it won't with the Check Engine Light flashing. Code 19 which is the sidestand switch so I'm gunna need a new one of those soon so I can have the bike back up to 100%.
I just wanna bypass it for the time being so it'll be able to start fully all the time until I can get around to buying a new one. Just gotta be sure the kickstand is all the way up when ready to take off. Anyone have info?
Do I just follow the wire to the harness and disconnect it? Or any info you can provide will be awesome. 2004 R6.
I'm pretty sure if you just disconnect it at the first plug point in the harness, it should override the switch.
If not, no harm done, just plug it right back. Then see of you cant just tape the switch into it's normally closed position.
